Kirrily Johnston
Having received formal training at the Melbourne Institute of Textiles, Kirrily Johnston began her career in fashion in Melbourne in 1999.The designer relocated to Sydney where she held her first solo show at the iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in Bondi Beach in 2004. Johnston captured the hearts of Australia's leading fashion editors and buyers and the brand quickly grew into a national and international success.
Johnston's aim has been to blend elegance with innovation. Focusing on luxurious fabrics and quality craftsmanship, her clothes are detailed and tailored yet maintain a sexy modern edge.
In 2010 Johnston launched Kj by Kirrily Johnston. This unique diffusion brand captures the essence of Kirrily Johnston and offers the wearer the perfect 'weekend' wear for both men and women.
Kirrily Johnston opened her first boutique in Sydney, in June 2005 and shortly followed with a Melbourne store opening in 2007 at the new Australian Designer hub, High St Armadale. Kirrily Johnston's clothes are coveted by some of the world's most stylish women including Nicole Kidman, Miranda Kerr, Megan Gale, Rachael Taylor, Dianne Kruger & Toni Colette.
